7 Layer Dip

If you’re ever in a pickle and need a quick appetizer, this one fits the bill! This dip is sure to please a crowd and takes 10 minutes or less to make. I don’t have much to say about this dip though because it’s pretty self-explanatory. Don’t believe me? Keep reading and you’ll see what I mean.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 pkg of taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 c sour cream
  • 2 8oz pkg guacamole
  • 1 15.5oz jar salsa
  • 8oz shredded lettuce
  • 1 pkg cheddar jack
  • 1 lg tomato or 2 plum tomatoes
  • Chips for serving

Directions

  1. Mix the refried beans with the taco seasoning.
  2. In a large baking dish, layer as follows: refried beans, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, shredded lettuce, cheese, tomatoes.

That is it! As you can see above, I chose to split mine so that it had half salsa and half guacamole, in case some people didn’t like guac. You can also add more layers if you’d like on top such as black olives. This is truly customizable; you can add and remove layers as you wish. Just serve it with some Tostitos Scoops and you’re good to go.
